“Sad Sad Heart” preaches a story about moving on from an ill-fated heart, and accepting that some individuals have mindsets that are set in stone. The driving nature of the guitar sets up the vocal for a soaring and heart-grit chorus, and the electric guitar solo brings home this energetic and painful wail.
